Job summary


  • Member of a Global team with presence in London, Paris, New York and Hong Kong. Core Mission is; “To deliver an outstanding Regulatory Onboarding solution to GMD, balancing commercial goals with robust operational integrity, and to clearly maintain our position as an Onboarding ‘Centre of Excellence’’.

  • Candidate will be based in New York and will work in coordination with other GMD Onboarding staff operating from London, Paris, New York and Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities


  • The primary focus of the role will be on KYC analysis, including both new Onboarding and Periodic re-reviews. This will be a direct client-facing role, with constant client contact, typically by email. 

  • Provision of Regulatory Onboarding solution, focused on business-as usual, pre-trade elements, across:
    -Dodd Frank


Operational Integrity
Ensuring service delivery is balanced with robust operational integrity, managing core Onboarding related ‘life-cycle’ issues, including;

  • Periodic KYC Review,
  • Delivery of associated regulatory remediation topics,
  • Managing all necessary portfolio and Relationship Management controls,
  • Implementation of Filiere Tiers/FS-driven initiatives,
  • Rolling programme of wider continuous improvement initiatives, to enhance efficiency and integrity,


Onboarding Knowledge

Ensuring effective delivery of GMD’s Onboarding obligations, as well as developing extensive practical and market knowledge;

  • Maximising adoption of Onboarding ‘best-practices’ through constant interaction with clients, peers and industry bodies,

  • Establishing and maintaining strong knowledge of regional Onboarding practices and regulatory requirements,

  • Representation in all relevant regulatory adherence meetings and committees,


Project Management

  • Help manage and deliver a variety of projects related to both execution and continuous improvement of the Regulatory Onboarding service offering.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years


Minimum 3-5 years' experience in KYC Onboarding and/or remediation in a financial services industry or regulatory environment.

•Flexibility to be able to simultaneously work on various different proposals/ reviews across different client groups
•Strong “fact-finding” skills
•Ability to meet deadlines, both external and internal
•Confidence to deal with client contacts at both equivalent and more senior levels
•Ability to be an effective team player and to develop sound working partnerships
•A self-starter – ‘self-teaching' skills are critical to the role.
